Disconnect Switches
The disconnectors allow the automatic disconnection of the internal wiring of the luminaires from the power supply line in order to allow a safe and quick maintenance of the luminaire already installed. They consist of a female plate (socket) powered by the mains and mounted on the fixed part of the luminaire, and a male plate (plug) mounted on the openable part. The internal wiring is generally derived from the female plate, which is always equipped with appropriate terminals. It is up to the customer to choose whether or not to have connection terminals also on the male base, if necessary.
When opened for maintenance, the switch disconnector automatically interrupts the power supply line, even if the operator has not previously opened the circuit. The range of switch disconnectors proposed allows you to choose between various sizes, voltages and current ratings, with earth or class II contact, as well as any accessories needed for a workmanlike wiring, such as fuse holders, connectors with quick coupling, cable clamps and positioning spacers.
